Island Lake is spring-fed, quiet and clean.  It has excellent angling for largemouth bass and panfish.  It is approximately 80 acres in size and its island is roughly 2 acres with mature cedars. 

Only electric motors are allowed so the entire area is peaceful and serene.You can swim right in front of the cottage or walk a short distance to the National Forest Service beach. 

Early  mornings and late evenings bring largemouth bass in close to our shoreline and some very good catches can be made right in front of the cottage.
